Privacy policy

Last updated 29 October 2026

Kelem Kids (ቀለም) is published by TopClass Consult, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices parents have. The app is designed for children, and a parent sets it up and controls it.

What we collect

We do not ask children for their phone number, email, photo or location.

How we use it

Only to run the app: to show lessons, save progress, apply the parent's time limits, show progress in the parent dashboard, check that a gift code is valid, and keep the service secure. We do not show ads and we do not sell or rent any data.

Who can see it

The parent who set up the account, and our small support team when a parent asks for help. Data is stored with our hosting providers (Supabase, with servers in the European Union, and Vercel), who process it only on our behalf.

How long we keep it

For as long as the account is in use. When a parent asks us to delete a child's data or the whole account, we delete it, except anything we must keep by law.

Parents' choices

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access to the parent area needs the parent's PIN. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your family's information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell parents in the app.
